Handover Today!!!!

We had handover today... We now have the keys to our house!!!!

The furniture is being delivered tomorrow and we will move in over the long weekend!!!!

Driveways and Paths are all boxed up

Our driveways and paths are all boxed up and waiting for the cemnet,

the inspecter was at the house today... Only the paint touch ups to do now...

we have the walk through on Friday with the SS...

Practical Completion

We have practical completion.. today...

We will be going through the house with the SS on Thursday...

We are still being told that we will be in by end of March, lets hope inti me for the Easter weekend.

We are just waiting on the electrician to finish, the shower screen man and the painter is coming back to do the touch ups..plus the screens need to go on too.

The carpet is also in.

the house is really coming along, the tiles are now finished... It looks great...

We have Floor tiles

The Tiler called on Saturday night to advise that he will be over on Sunday to start laying the floor tiles... He has worked hard today and has most of the floor tiles in... He said he should be finished by tomorrow afternoon. I will update with photo's when i can get in to take some.

House has had 1st coat

Went to the house today and only expected it to have a undercoat on it... To my surprise it has a first coat of our paint colour.. The floor tiles have arrived too. I think the rain has delayed us a bit... a pity they didn't have the painting fished before the rain came... I called the SS last week and he said i should be in by the end of march... Hopefully

stand still

well for the past 2 weeks nothing much has happened...

The painter did start on Monday but done 1 day and then stopped. Hopefully he will be their tomorrow.

The site supervisor i had got a new job, so now i have a new site supervisor, i have not had contact from him yet.

I am pretty disappointed that the house has basically sat there for the last 2 weeks with no action...

I am going to call coral tomorrow to try and get a PCI date at least...
